Smoothies are amazing! It’s like a soup or a salad, you can pretty much add in anything you like. I was craving some blueberries and crafted a delicious new smoothie over the weekend. Adding in a hint of fresh basil made it quite enjoyable and a bit different than the regular fruit smoothie.
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 frozen banana
3–4 leaves fresh basil
1 tablespoon hemp hearts
1 teaspoon whole or ground flax seed
1.5 cups dairy-free milk of choice ( I used unsweetened flax milk)
