Strawberry Chia Jam

  • Author: Amber Romaniuk
  • Yield: 1 - 1.5 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 pounds of fresh strawberries sliced
3 tbsp raw honey
6 tbsp white or black chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Slice strawberries and add to a pot with the honey. Heat to medium heat and stir occasionally.
  2. Once strawberries have reduced and they are easy to mash, use a potato masher to break them up so the mixture is very liquid-like.
  3. Add chia seeds and reduce to low heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  4. Take off heat, let cool and add to a jar. Makes about 1.5 cups.
